Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 6, 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to the Vibe app ("the App") published by Musicus LLC ("we", "us", "our"). Vibe is designed with privacy in mind. We believe your practice data is yours and should stay on your device.

By using the App, you acknowledge the data practices described in this policy. You can disable telemetry in the App's settings and manage advertising choices through the App's privacy controls. If you do not agree with this policy, discontinue use of the App.

Data Controller

Musicus LLC is the data controller responsible for the processing of your personal data. For contact information, see the Contact section below.

Data We Collect

Vibe collects the following categories of data to improve the App and support advertising:

Usage Telemetry

We collect usage and diagnostic data to understand how features are used and to improve app quality. This includes:

This data does not include your name, email address, saved practice content, or audio recordings. It does include device and app-usage information such as device model, OS version, screen size, country derived from locale, feature usage, session duration, and crash diagnostics. Telemetry is enabled by default and processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the App. You can disable it at any time in the App's Settings under Privacy.

Crash Reports

When the App crashes, we collect error details and stack traces to diagnose and fix issues. Crash reports include device model, OS version, and app version. They do not contain personal data. Crash reporting is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining App stability.

Advertising Data

Vibe displays banner ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device advertising identifiers, device data, IP-based approximate location, and usage data for ad delivery, fraud prevention, measurement, and, where permitted, ad personalization. In the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, advertising choices are managed through Google's consent message and privacy options flow where required. Depending on your region and the choices you make, ads may be personalized, limited, non-personalized, or unavailable. For details on Google's data practices, see the Google Privacy Policy.

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data under the following legal bases:

Data We Do Not Collect

On-Device Data

Settings, presets, and practice preferences are stored locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to our servers. If you delete the App, this data is removed.

Third-Party Services

Vibe uses the following third-party services, all operated by Google LLC:

These services may collect device identifiers, IP addresses (for approximate geographic location), and usage data as described in the Google Privacy Policy. Data transmitted to these services is sent over encrypted channels (HTTPS/TLS). Google handles data collected through these services under its own platform terms and privacy commitments.

International Data Transfers

Data collected through the third-party services listed above may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where Google operates. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, Switzerland, Brazil, or Canada, these transfers are made under appropriate safeguards, including Google's Standard Contractual Clauses and their compliance with applicable data protection frameworks.

App Store Platform Data

When you install or update Vibe through Google Play or the Apple App Store, the platform operator may process technical and diagnostic information (for example, install/update status, device compatibility details, and platform-level crash diagnostics). We may access aggregated reports (such as installs, crashes, and device/country breakdowns), but we do not receive direct personal identity data from these reports. Google and Apple handle this platform data under their own systems and policies.

How We Share Data

We share usage telemetry, crash reports, and advertising data with Google through the third-party services listed above. We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data with any other third parties except as described in this policy. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Your Choices and Controls

You can control data collection through the App's Settings under Privacy:

You can also reset your device's advertising identifier or, where supported by your platform, limit ad personalization through your device's system settings. These system controls do not replace the in-app consent flow where regional law or platform policy requires it.

Data Security

Practice data stays on your device. Data transmitted to third-party services (analytics, crash reports, ads) is sent over encrypted channels (HTTPS/TLS). We implement appropriate technical measures to protect data in transit, though no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.

Data Retention and Deletion

On-device settings and preferences remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App. Usage analytics and crash data retained by Google are subject to Google's retention policies. Vibe does not offer user accounts, so there is no account data to delete. If you contact us about deleting telemetry data, we will review whether we can identify the relevant records.

Children's Privacy

Vibe is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where a higher age threshold applies). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not require an account or personal information to use. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Limits on Identification

Vibe does not use user accounts and does not collect direct identifiers such as your name or email address through the App. Because of that, we may not be able to identify which telemetry records belong to a particular person.

If you ask us to access, export, correct, or delete telemetry data, we may need additional information to determine whether we can identify the relevant records. In some cases, we may not be able to do so. We do not collect extra identifying information solely to respond to these requests.
